What makes for a good sleepwear

Comfort matters: Comfort is why you wear a nightwear for. So keep away all the show-bizz when it comes to sleep. Afterall, we all need a good and sound sleep for a healthy and good living.

Fabric matters: Cotton is the best fabric for your sleepwear. Cotton may help your skin breathe and let you relax. However, you have a wide variety to choose from, like silk, rayon, satin, polyester etc. But keep these reserved for some romantic expeditions. However, silk being a natural fabric may permit breatheability.

Size matters: Wear a size that allows free and unrestricted movement to your body parts. A loose fitting sleepwear promises more comfort and ease. Afterall, it's your bedroom where you can wear something that ensures your comfort first.

Design matters:
Wear simple. Wear a design that has no extras to it. Avoid all embellishments, unless you are on a date. See to it that your nightwear doesnot feature too much of pockets, flaps, frills etc. The extra fabric or the extra feature might be a problem. See to it that there are no seams or minimal seams.

Season matters: Wear cottons to combat the summer heat, particularly if you live in a tropical country. You can wear nylons or thermal fabrics during winters. Polysters may prove to be quite warmer. So, wear accordingly.

Tips

For a slim, small, petite body frame:  silks and satins are done. Frills, ruffles, trimmings, bows, laces may all complement your looks. If wearing stripes, go for vertical stripes. Remember, that even the prints that you wear must follow a vetrical pattern.

Wear a nightie of the length that runs somewhere, an inch or two below your knees. Baby-doll styles, negligees, boxer shorts and sleep shirts are all apt for you.

A tall but slim body frame:  can be well adorned in Payjamas. Wear horizontal stripes if you are too lean. You can also wear nighties that hug you well, neither too loose nor too tight. Wear a length that shows your legs well.

If you belong to the above two body types, avoid wearing granny funnel like nighties as they might over-whlemn your body frame and prove to be too gigantic for your body.

For a fuller yet small body frame: Wear boxer shorts, camisoles, sleep shirts and nighties. Go for a length that does not overwlehm your body. Do not wear payjamas, over-sized shirts and fannel gowns. Wear vertical stripes or prints that follow a vertical pattern to appear taller.

For a fuller and tall body frame: You can wear almost any thing that you wish to wear as you are blessed with a curvaceous body frame. Just avoid wearing frills, runches, ruffles, bows, trimmings etc as they might add to the volume of your body frame and make you appear bigger!

Avoid:

Do not wear nylons, polyesters, woolens, acrylics or lycras to bed. Wear cottons to bed.

Do not wear frills, ruflles, beads, sequins, and other detailngs to sllep as they might be itching enough to cause you great discomfort.
