We never tire of burlesque dancer and businesswoman Dita Von Teese’s unique vintage persona and her incredibly sensuous dressing style. So when she launches a perfume, we want to get our hands on it to see what it’s like to be her, even if it’s just for a moment. She launched her fragrance “Dita von Teese” at Liberty’s Store in Great Marlborough Street, London on May 1, dressed in the same powerfully seductive fashion that is recognized the world over.
What she Wore:
Turquoise Gown by Herve L. Leroux
We were expecting Dita to wear something revealing and figure-hugging. We weren’t disappointed. The brunette stunner wore a floor-sweeping turquoise gown with a plunging neckline set amidst a bandage-style bodice. The skirt of the gown was fitted around the buttocks but flowed into a train from the thigh down. Dita’s alabaster skin looked ethereal against the gorgeous color. Her only accessory was a giant diamond ring on her left hand.
Hair & Makeup:
Retro
Dita doesn’t usually deviate from her retro style hair and makeup. As usual, her raven hair was parted on the side and left loose with a slightly permed look. Dark, winged eye makeup, blusher, bright red lips and matching nail polish completed her titillating look.
The Fragrance
The scent Dita von Teese is, according to the namesake, one that reflects all sides of her personality. So it’s mysterious, dark, sensual, sophisticated and glamorous.
