Bollywood actor Aamir Khan joined his wife Kiran Rao for the Star Parivaar awards ceremony in Mumbai, India on June 22, 2014.

The actor has often said before that he will not attend awards functions, so it was a nice surprise to see him there for his show Satyameva Jayate. He didn’t get too dressy though, choosing a dark grey, long-sleeved tee and pale green bottoms for the evening.

Kiran went with a traditional look in a multi-coloured silk sari, dangle earrings with a matching ring, and a gold box clutch.
