From a long-held dream to a permanent Paris address, Gaurav Gupta’s journey in the city has entered a new chapter. On October 5, the Indian couturier opened his first permanent showroom at 6 Rue Jean Goujon, bringing his vision of Indian couture to Paris’s Golden Triangle.
A lasting presence in Paris

The showroom gives Gaurav Gupta Couture a year-round presence in a city where the house has presented collections during Paris Haute Couture Week. Designed for private, by-appointment visits, the space offers international clients a more personal way to explore the label’s couture beyond the busy fashion-week calendar.
A space shaped by the house

Set inside a historic Parisian building, the showroom brings together the character of its architecture and Gupta’s sculptural design language. Indian craftsmanship, artworks and furniture designed by the couturier lend the space a personal feel. Rather than a conventional boutique, it is conceived as an intimate setting where clients can experience the house’s world up close
Indian craftsmanship on a Paris stage

Gupta’s work is known for dramatic silhouettes, intricate craftsmanship and a contemporary, often surrealist approach. Its Indian creative roots remain central, while the new address places the house in closer conversation with Paris and its couture community.

The opening marks more than a new location. It reflects a deeper relationship with a city that has become an important part of the label’s couture journey. With a permanent showroom, the house can welcome clients throughout the year and build connections beyond the runway.

For Gupta, 6 Rue Jean Goujon is the realisation of a long-held ambition. It gives his couture a lasting home in Paris and marks an exciting next step for an Indian fashion house continuing to make its presence felt internationally.
