The November 3 telecast of Discovery’s ‘Storm Chasers’ revealed that its star Matt Hughes died on May 26 at his home on Kansas. He was 30. According to reports by TMZ.com, the veteran meteorologist hung himself after a long battle with depression.
Hughes is survived by his wife and two sons. Discovery channel has set up a memorial fund for the benefit of Matt’s young sons.
