Fans of Demi Lovato got to meet her in person as she signed copies of Seventeen Magazine at Barnes and Noble in Americana in Los Angeles, California on January 4. The actress/singer features on the cover of the popular teen magazine of the February 2012 issue.
The 19-year-old looked lovely as she turned up for the signing in a white dress with subtle silver detailing. The dress was actually a white mini underneath a sheer, full-length, white overlay, which also had flower-patterned detailing. She paired this youthful ensemble with a semi-sheer black shrug with arm-length sleeves. Black and white are popular color trends for 2012, so we know she’s keeping up with fashion.
The outfit was accessorized with gold necklace which had gray beads, and goth-themed rings on her fingers. She seemed to be going for an angel-devil look here. While her white dress is almost virginal, there are other aspects of the ensemble that hint at some naughtiness. This is especially apparent with her pointy black nails.
Demi went with light makeup – a subtle peach-pink shade on her lips, a little blush, a little mascara, and she’s good to go. The natural brunette colored her locks auburn recently, which she side parted and left loose to fall in beautiful waves down the front. This is a brilliant shade of red for her skin tone, and the elusive one that we’re always looking for (and can never seem to find) when we go out hunting for hair colors.

You can go all pristine with a dress like Demi’s. Instead of the dual theme she’s pulled off with such elan, you can sport simply the lacy dress with your hair done up for a day time event. You can up the glam factor considerably by pairing this dress with a silver shrug instead of a black one.
