Actress Vanessa Hudgens brought a welcome burst of color to the red carpet while attending the premiere of her new movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island at Grauman’s Chinese Theater on February 2, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.
The 23- year-old wore a strapless, low-cut Grecian gown in a delightful yellow that celebrated life and worked well with her dusky skin tone. It featured cutout sides and back which allowed her to show off even more of her curvaceous figure. Add flowing trains to this elegant number by Maria Lucia Hohan and you have an already gorgeous brunette looking like a modern-day princess.
Gold rings, gold band bracelets and gold dangle earrings were used to accessorize the outfit. Vanessa went with dark eye makeup and a subtle red on her lips – both making her look young and vibrant. Like most of the other female celebs at the premiere, Vanessa too wore her medium-length brown hair loose with curls.
If her smiles and graceful poses were anything to go by, she obviously loved wearing this ensemble. A great dress carried off with amazing verve.
This gown is a close cousin of the grey one – also by Maria Lucia Hohan – that Katherine Heigl recently wore to the premiere of One for the Money. They are both beautiful women who bring their own personal charm to the clothes they wear so its impossible to say who pulls this style off better.
