Chris Brown is all set to perform at the Grammy Awards this weekend. Three years ago, he was forced to pull out of a performance after his scandalous breakup with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Initial reports from the Associated Press reveal that Brown will hit the stage at the awards show in Los Angeles on Sunday. Rihanna will also be performing that day.
The report is as yet unconfirmed. But if it’s true, then this will be the first time since 2009 that Brown makes an appearance at the Grammys.
Both RiRi and Brown were supposed to perform in 2009 when they were seeing each other, but both backed out at the last minute after Brown beat her up following a pre-Grammy party.
Brown was convicted of assault, put on probation for five years, ordered to do community service for six months, and made to take domestic violence counseling classes.
