Actress Kate Beckinsale has an amazing sense of style and she’s always a grand hit on any red carpet. The fashionista did not disappoint at the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards held at Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California on February 25.
The 38-year-old beauty wore a bright purple one-shoulder jumpsuit by Diane von Furstenberg that made her look glamorous and sophisticated. The Underworld star’s skin glowed against the backdrop of this marvelous color. She usually goes with a more Bohemian look and you can see from the way this jumpsuit falls on her that she allowed that preference to seep into her jumpsuit choice as well.
Just as delectable as the jumpsuit were her patterned gold open-toe heels by Christian Louboutin which gave us a peek of her purple toe nails. A gold cuff bracelet and gold dangle earrings added more glam to her already smashing red carpet ensemble. This fantastic outfit proves that while Kate is indeed fashion-forward, she has a timeless style.
The gorgeous brunette wore her brown wavy hair loose and wild, adding to the sensuousness of the colorful jumpsuit. Muted purple lips, matching blush and dark eye makeup completed the Hollywood icon’s look.
Other celebs who successfully pulled off jumpsuits are Daneel Harris and JLo. Jumpsuits are very ‘in’ right now and since it is an easy look to pull off, you simply must sport this look a few times before it goes out of fashion.
