Actor Tom Cruise was shocked in June when his wife of five years, Katie Holmes, filed for divorce. However, the highly-publicised proceedings ended without drama when the couple came to a mutually-beneficial settlement in July. They did a pretty good job of keeping it all under wraps. The details of the settlement are still unknown.
However, TMZ.com revealed that Cruise will pay Holmes about $400,000 per annum in child support for their daughter Suri, 6, till she turns 18. Cruise will also reportedly be responsible for all educational and medical expenses.
