No one makes a statement quite like singer Nicki Minaj. Spotted at the FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party 2013 earlier this year, she seemed to be craving a change as evidenced by her wig, of all things.

Usually seen in a blonde one, Nicki chose a raven black one this time, not very different from fellow crooner Katy Perry’s hair color of choice for 2013. Nicki styled her tresses in large curls while edgy blunt bangs made her quite the head-turner.
Now although we love Nicki’s usual effusive makeup, we were pleasantly surprised to see her tone things down a bit for this look. Apart from her patent fake lashes, she wore only a lovely candy ice pink lippie which stood out starkly thanks to the deeper hair shade.
Since her overall look is so tame here (well, you know, tame for Nicki), we get a rare chance to bear witness to her natural beauty.
