We had the lovely Ayesha Takia, the talented Konkona Sen Sharma, the new mommy Shilpa Shetty and the beautiful Vidya Balan all following the dress code of the evening- Traditional.

Here we bring to you the looks sported by these beauties.

Ayesha Takia wore a white anarkali with sheer sleeves and intricate zari work. The ensemble was paired with a tulle dupatta with a silver border and silver heels. The accessory was restricted to pearl hoops; the red nails did add some spark to the outfit. The hair was left open with a middle-parting and the nude glossy lips did complement her look.

Konkona Sen Sharma wore red and gold flared kurta paired with a sheer gold dupatta. Her simplistic style and intellectual movies make her a woman of substance!

Her gold hooped-earrings were paired with golden heels and an over-sized clutch.

We spotted the new-mommy Shilpa Shetty in a Tarun Tahiliani salwar-suit. The dupatta was dual-coloured in plum and off-white. It was no wonder that Shilpa would wear her favourite designer for this event. Her hair was kept open to one side and we could see those gorgeous danglers on her ears. She accessorized her look with a golden clutch and heels.

A mustard-yellow Sabyasachi anarkali was the choice of outfit for this beauty. Paired with a printed sheer dupatta with a black border, Vidya looked vivacious. The opulent choice of ear-rings were a bit overwhelming. But, nevertheless, she looked stunning.

P.S: We observed a common thread between all these celebs. They sported a middle-parted open hair. Gold was a constant feature in their ensembles, be it shoes, or jhumkas. Even Ayesha’s white ensemble had a gold zari work in it.

So, now you know what color to go for if you are looking forward to wearing ethnic.
