Satyagraha, which releases on August 23, is loosely based on social activist Anna Hazare, portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan, and tells the story of corruption in India. Director Prakash Jha is known to relevantly highlight the social issues of the day in his films and this will be no different, we’re sure. Plus, corruption is a pretty well-known concept that every Indian is familiar with so the film’s premise is bound to hit home whether watched by the aam aadmi or a party-hopping socialite.

Apart from the three actors who attended the release, the cast includes Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgan and Arjun Rampal.

Amitabh arrived at the event dressed in traditional casual attire – a white kurta pyjama and a neutral shawl.

Meanwhile, the only female cast member at the event looked cheerfully sexy in a yellow strapless dress with a flared skirt and a black belt to emphasise the waist. Black patent pumps, a couple of silver finger rings and silver stud earrings accessorized her look.

She kept her styling simple but it was effective in rounding off the look. Her shoulder-length black hair was left loose, curls at the ends. Pink lips and a pink manicure were the only other pops of color in the ensemble apart from the outfit.
