Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades have made it official.
After years together, the Bollywood actor and his longtime partner registered their marriage in Goa on August 21, marking a new chapter in a relationship that has already seen them build a family together.
The couple completed the legal formalities at the Sub-Registrar’s office in Mapusa, North Goa, with close friends present. Their marriage was registered under Goa’s Uniform Civil Code. Gabriella, who is a South African national, and Arjun are currently based near Panaji.
From Longtime Partners to Husband and Wife
Arjun and Gabriella are reported to have met in 2018 and have been together for around eight years. Over that time, the couple have largely kept their relationship relaxed and away from the traditional expectations that often surround celebrity couples.
They are also parents to two sons, Arik, born in 2019, and Ariv, born in 2023.
Gabriella has frequently spoken about not feeling pressured to marry simply because they had children together, making their decision to finally formalise the relationship feel very much on their own terms.
The couple had also previously confirmed that they were engaged, although they never appeared to be in a rush to head down the aisle.
Who Is Gabriella Demetriades?
Gabriella is much more than Arjun Rampal’s longtime partner. The South African model and actress has also built a strong presence in fashion and is the founder of clothing label Deme Love.
Her fashion-forward style and understated public presence have made her a familiar face in India’s entertainment and fashion circles over the years.
For Arjun, this is his second marriage. The actor was previously married to former model Mehr Jesia, with whom he has two daughters.
There was no big Bollywood wedding spectacle this time around. Instead, Arjun and Gabriella seem to have chosen something intimate and low-key… very much in keeping with the way they have handled their relationship over the years.
After eight years together and two children, the couple are now officially husband and wife.
