Singer Shaan and his wife Radhika Mukherjee have made a major real-estate purchase in Mumbai, reportedly buying a luxury residence in Bandra West for close to Rs 48 crore.
The property is located in Palmera on Turner Road, one of Bandra’s premium residential pockets, and spans a little over 6,200 square feet. According to property-registration details cited in reports, the deal was registered on August 20, 2026.
Three Apartments Combined Into One Large Residence
What makes the purchase particularly interesting is its scale.
Rather than acquiring a single conventional apartment, Shaan and Radhika reportedly bought three separate units in the development. Together, they form a large residence spread across roughly one-and-a-half floors.
The combined transaction value has been reported at around Rs 47.64 crore, with each unit costing approximately Rs 15.88 crore. The purchase also includes nine car parking spaces, while stamp duty on the transaction was reportedly around Rs 2.70 crore.
For a city where luxury homes are increasingly being designed around larger, customised floor plans, combining multiple apartments gives the couple far more space and flexibility than a standard flat.
Inside Shaan’s New Bandra Address
Palmera is located on Turner Road near St Martin’s Road in Bandra West.
The upscale residential project stands on land where veteran actress Mala Sinha’s bungalow once stood. Reports describe the development as a 22-storey tower with premium amenities, including a swimming pool and an upper-level bar.
The project is reportedly still awaiting its Occupancy Certificate, so the property may not be ready for immediate occupation.
Bandra, of course, remains one of Mumbai’s most sought-after celebrity neighbourhoods, thanks to its mix of high-end residences, established social infrastructure and proximity to the entertainment industry.
The Purchase Has a Personal Connection for Shaan
The move is not purely about luxury real estate.
Shaan has a longstanding family connection with Bandra. His late father, musician Manas Mukherjee, also lived in the area, giving the singer’s latest purchase a more personal dimension.
That makes the new home feel less like a random property investment and more like a return to a neighbourhood that has already been part of the family’s story.
Shaan Is Having a Busy Year
The property purchase comes at an active time professionally for the singer as well.
Shaan recently reunited musically with Saif Ali Khan after nearly two decades for the song Mera Hero Hai Woh from the upcoming film Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan and also starring Akshay Kumar.
Between new music and a sizeable new Bandra address, 2026 is shaping up to be quite a year for Shaan.
And at nearly Rs 48 crore for more than 6,200 square feet in one of Mumbai’s most coveted neighbourhoods, this is certainly not a small move.
