Buckingham Palace has released an official statement confirming long running rumours that Prince William in now officially committed to Kate Middleton. According to reports, William put late Princess Diana’s ring on Kate’s finger while the couple was holidaying in Kenya. The 18 carat gorgeous diamond and sapphire ring is the same as the one father Prince Charles gave to William’s mother Diana on their engagement. William spoke about the fact adding that it was their way to honour his mother’s memory and to make her a part of the celebrations.
The wedding is scheduled to take place in Spring/Summer of 2011 in London.
