80-year-old actress Anne Francis has died at a Santa Barbara nursing home on Sunday. Her daughter, Jane Uemura told Los Angeles Times that her mother died because of pancreatic cancer complications. Francis had previously in 2007 undergone surgery and chemotherapy for lung cancer.
Francis will be perhaps best remembered as the stunning female detective in TV series ‘Honey West’ and also as the main love interest in sci-fi classic ‘Forbidden Planet’.
