Kate Winslet tried to be a little too experimental on the red carpet at the premiere of Mildred Pierce, at the Zeigfeld Theater in New York City. She was seen in an offbeat Stella McCartney dress from the Fall 2011 collection. It’s not surprising to find Kate in black on the red carpet but this dress has an unusual design.
It features sheer fabric with large polka dots detail running from the neckline right down to the hemline on one side of the full sleeved knee length dress. Her went for nude makeup with outlined eyes and the hair tied in a bun. She also wore black sandals and a metallic clutch bag by Calvin Klein.
