For the evening, both actors wore Givenchy by Sarah Burton. Rooney chose a black knitted ensemble from the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, featuring a sliced bra and matching twisted skirt. Joaquin kept things classic in a black wool tuxedo, white shirt and silk tie.
The event, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, welcomed several prominent Hollywood names, including Charlize Theron, Jessica Alba, Serena Williams, Cynthia Erivo and Matthew McConaughey.
Beyond the celebrity appearances, the evening marked an important announcement for Airbnb.org. Airbnb unveiled plans to contribute $500 million over five years, with the aim of supporting one million nights of free accommodation annually.

For Rooney and Joaquin, the appearance was a chance to lend their presence to a charitable initiative, bringing understated red-carpet glamour to an evening focused on helping people find shelter during difficult circumstances.
