The most beautiful woman in the world hardly needs to wear a great dress to be noticed. But nevertheless, Angelina Jolie always takes the trouble to look picture perfect on the red carpet. Arriving for the 23rd Annual Producer’s Guild Awards at the the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on January 21, the actress looked stunning, though slightly conservative, in a black column gown by Michael Kors.
The full-sleeve, floor-sweeping gown had lace detailing on the back, waist, and along the length of the arms. The lace paneling gave the dress a slightly retro feel. A thigh high slit allowed the brunette beauty to flaunt her sexy legs. She accessorized with black peep-toe heels by Ferragamo, a black clutch, and jewelry by Robert Procop.
Angelina left her brown hair to fall loosely around her face. The relaxed hairstyle gave her a soft, feminine glow, allowing her darkly mascaraed eyes and soft pink pout to really shine.
Sure, this dress lacks the breathtaking quality of the stunning ivory number she donned for the Golden Globes last week. But she still manages to look like the international superstar that she is, exuding a grace, elegance and verve that is unique to her. Kudos, Angelina, for yet another marvelous red carpet look.

This dress has just the right amount of lace. Not too much that it looks outdated, and not too little that it looks frivolous.
When you’re going lacy, stay away from the jewelry and loud shoes. Keep your look simple all around. Reserve lacy dresses for parties and formal events.
