Angelina Jolie Sells Historic Los Feliz Estate for $24.75 Million as Madonna Rumors Are Denied

Angelina Jolie has sold her historic Los Feliz estate for $24.75 million, closing the chapter on one of Hollywood’s most storied celebrity homes.

The property had originally been listed for $29.85 million, but ultimately sold for only around $250,000 more than the $24.5 million Jolie paid for it in 2017.

Early reports linked Madonna to the purchase, but Jolie’s realtor later denied that the singer was the buyer. The identity of the new owner has not been publicly confirmed.

Set inside the gated Laughlin Park neighbourhood of Los Feliz, the estate sits on more than two acres and centres around an approximately 11,000 square foot residence. The home includes six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a library, a mahogany panelled dining room and a primary suite with its own private terrace.

The grounds add even more character, with a guesthouse, pool house, gym, tea house and landscaped gardens creating the feel of a private compound in the middle of Los Angeles.

The property also comes with serious Hollywood history. Built in 1913, it was once owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, giving the estate a legacy that stretches back to the early days of the film industry.

For Jolie, the sale appears to mark a significant transition. She has previously spoken about eventually leaving Los Angeles, and reports suggest she may spend more time abroad in the future.

Even without Madonna as the buyer, the sale remains a major celebrity real estate story, with one of Los Angeles’ most historic homes now entering a new chapter.
