Hilary Duff is back on stage, and judging by the reaction in Australia, the love for our favourite early-2000s pop princess hasn’t faded one bit!

The singer and actress recently performed to packed arenas in Brisbane and Sydney as part of her Lucky Me Tour 2026, marking her first Australian concert tour in 18 years. And it was everything fans could have hoped for: nostalgic hits, emotional moments, playful performances and plenty of millennial magic.
Following the shows, Hilary shared her excitement with fans, writing, “Brisbane and Sydney, my heart is exploding!” She also thanked audiences for the incredible energy they brought to the performances.
A Nostalgic Trip Back to the 2000s

Hilary kicked off the Australian leg of her tour at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on October 22 before heading to Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on October 24.
The setlist was a delightful mix of old favourites and new music. Fans sang along to hits including So Yesterday, Wake Up, Come Clean and With Love, while songs from her latest album, Luck… or Something, introduced a more grown-up side of the singer.

And, of course, no Hilary Duff concert would feel complete without What Dreams Are Made Of, the beloved anthem from The Lizzie McGuire Movie. The song brought the Sydney show to an emotional close, complete with pink balloons, butterfly confetti and an enthusiastic crowd singing along.
Hilary Duff’s Pop-Star Style Is Back Too!

The performances also brought back Hilary’s playful approach to fashion. From a blue feathered top paired with jeans to sparkling stage outfits, her wardrobe mixed Y2K nostalgia with a relaxed, contemporary attitude.

Rather than relying entirely on elaborate costumes, Hilary embraced comfortable separates, oversized T-shirts and even barefoot moments on stage. It was fun, refreshingly unpretentious and very much in keeping with her personality.
A Comeback Worth Celebrating

Hilary’s return to touring follows the release of Luck… or Something, her first studio album in more than a decade. The record reached number one on Australia’s ARIA Albums Chart, making the enthusiastic reception even more meaningful.
For longtime fans who grew up watching Lizzie McGuire and listening to her music, these concerts were more than just another pop performance. They were a chance to revisit a little piece of their childhood, this time alongside an artist who has grown up with them.
With Melbourne and Perth next on her Australian tour schedule, the celebrations are far from over.
And honestly, seeing Hilary Duff back on stage, smiling, singing and enjoying every moment? This really is what dreams are made of!
