As she signed copies of her new book “Jennifer Hudson I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down” at Barnes and Noble in Skokie, Illinois on January 17, you couldn’t help but notice singer Jennifer Hudson’s svelte figure. So gobsmacked were we at her incredible weight loss that we almost missed her very cool hairstyle.
The 30-year-old side-parted her long brown hair and styled it in a fishtail braid that trailed down her left shoulder. Her grown-out bangs were curled in a charming fashion to the side sjust above the braid.
This hairstyle gave Jennifer’s ensemble a sweet, wholesome appeal that well-suits her personality. That curl on the side in particular makes her look very cute, in addition to acting as a frame for her face.
The fishtail braid is a practical, versatile hairstyle that can be worn with casual and formal clothes for any event.
