Superstar Rihanna’s double denim pants are a style statement indeed. She was spotted in them during a visit to the River Island store in London at the exclusive after party of the launch of the Rihanna for River Island collection at DSTRKT.

These double denim pants are a part of the singer’s own designs. Though it appears that she is wearing two pairs of denims, a dark blue one on top of a light blue one – it is actually just one pair of pants. We feel it is quite an interesting trend, and one which is far better than simply wearing a pair of denims that hangs too low on the hip!

For those of you who cannot get their hands on these pants, well there are other ways to sport this look.
Wear a pair of light blue denim hot pants – which are totally body hugging. Choose a dark blue pair of baggy denim pants – in a size that is closer to your lower hip size than your waist size. This is because you will have to wear these pants around your lower hip. (You won’t be able to button up your regular blue denims around the hips) Fold the baggy denim pants from below so that they reach till the ankles.
Another option would be to get a light blue denim waistband (cut from a pair of old pants perhaps) stitched on top of dark blue denims (ones that are hip sized). And, you are ready to sport the double denim pants yourself!
