Actress/singer Selena Gomez was a vision of elegance and style as she attended the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie “Getaway” at the Village Theater in Westwood, California on August 26.
The Dress

She borrowed from designer Vera Wang’s Fall 2013 collection, her outfit a dramatic representation of the popular and slimming peplum silhouette.
It started out with a black skirt with floral motifs in magenta. The classy short bottoms with the delightful pop of sensuous color were overlaid with a gorgeous jacquard bodice – black with champagne floral motifs similar to those on the skirt.
Lace panelling ran down in a V shape from her neck to her belly button. The bodice is what created the peplum silhouette, draped uniquely in a butterfly knot.
It’s a sassy, sexy number which the 21-year-old has no problem pulling off at all.
The Accessories
Jimmy Choos lace shoes
The super-feminine outfit was complemented by super-feminine footwear – a pair of to-die-for sheer, lacy, monochrome Jimmy Choos from the Alias line. The stiletto heels had black patent toe caps which gave the delicate shoes a bit of an edgy vibe.
Rounding off the feminine attire were pink and magenta clip-on earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.
Hair and Makeup

The former Disney star wore her hair in a loose ponytail with several wisps left loose for drama and added softness. She finished off her look with glossy pink lips, darkly lined and mascarraed peepers, and silver eye shadow with a hint of shimmery blue.
