The season’s latest ‘it fashion’ is without doubt, androgyny. We’ve seen it on all major runway shows, both as menswear and womenswear collection but how many would be exactly willing to sport this on the red carpet? It’s a tricky trend no doubt and the silhouette and cut of the garment plays a crucial role. Amber Heard, the better half of heartthrob Johnny Depp, took the risk and showed us how to play it right.
Amber Heard goes Androgynous at The Danish Girl premiere in Los Angeles
Amber walked the carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of film ‘The Danish Girl’ at the Westwood Village Theatre, USA on Saturday, November 21st 2015.
Instead of the usual gowns and dresses, she opted for a tuxedo suit by Dolce & Gabbana. One needs to check out the clever design of the suit – the fitted high waist trousers and the feminine cut of the jacket. It was classy but with a slight tweak and while the floral patterns on the jacquard fabric gave a striking appeal, the velvet peaked lapels added further élan.

In terms of styling, Amber did justice by opting for minimal accessorizing and soft smokey eyes. Her high ponytail drew attention to her enviable jawline and gave the overall look a smooth and slick appeal. And that’s, ladies and gentleman, is how you wear the androgyny fashion, in style!
