“Akki Narula” to design women accessories for PUMA
Sportlifestyle brand, PUMA AG announced Aki Narula as the first Indian designer for Puma. Rajiv Mehta, the Managing Director India, announced the design collaboration with Akki who has been assigned to design, create and develop a new ready-to-wear women’s collection for PUMA.. With this new feather in his hat, Akki has joined the list of big names like Sergio Rossi, Alexander McQueen,etc.
The collection will consist of women's footwear, apparel and accessories.The media preview of the collection is scheduled for November 2009 and the exclusive Spring/Summer collection for Feburary 2010. "Women will now have access to premium fashion rather than only seeing them in shows and events.”, says Akki. The mid-to premium range priced collection aims to target all women.
