Anjali Patil Celebrates Success of “Chakravyuh” in Style

October 26, 2012 by benaifer

Anjali married several conventional wardrobe wisdoms with accents of classy trends. She wore a sleeveless sheer black blouse with a diamante statement collar, one of the top trends of the year. She paired it with a black tank top and a metallic grey pinstriped panelled pencil skirt, a variation on a wardrobe staple.

The outfit was accessorized simply with dangle earrings, a statement silver bracelet and nude T-strap peep-toes.

The aspiring diva pulled her hair back into a curly ponytail and completed her look with glow-from-within blush and  a hint of winged eye makeup.

Get the Look

The black blouse and pencil skirt is a classic outfit that has stood the test of time remarkably well. If you have just the pencil skirt in your wardrobe, you are always halfway there to an ensemble that’s both sophisticated and trendy.

Pair the pencil skirt with a feminine blouse with clean lines. Try avoiding huge prints or lace. The statement collar (which you can buy separately as a clip-on) will look much better on a plain or subtle blouse.

Nude shades are very ‘in’ right now so you can accessorize with nude shoes like Anjali, but even basic black pumps will make your look. You can also try red pumps for a bolder persona.

Keep your jewellery to a minimum. Diamond studs will look great if you don’t have danglers.

A neat hairdo and dark eyes will give your look the perfect finish.
