Payal play the bahu who thinks she will be accepted as a daughter into the family she marries. Prachee is the saas who does not believe that daughter-in-laws are the same as daughters. However, rather than fights or depictions of harassment, the show will portray how the relationship between the two progresses and the point of view of each of the protagonists is expressed respectfully.

Whether or not the show will be any different from all the others remains to be seen. Payal hopes though that it will lead to better things for her career. She has acted in Southern films and the show is her first Hindi project ever. She said she wants to do Bollywood films and become really famous, and the TV serial is a stepping stone for bigger things.
