After all the hype and controversy and title changes that have plagued “Ram-Leela” since the first trailer release, the film was finally screened in Mumbai, India on November 14, 2013.

Earlier this week, developments in the ongoing court case against the movie had fans fearing that it would not see the light of day for many weeks to come. However, all issues seem to have been resolved, or at least put on the back burner for now.

Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who play the lead roles in the film were ecstatic that their big day had finally come. After all their hard work, injuries, workouts and promos, the duo were visibly brimming over with joy at the screening.

They continued to do that complementary thing with their outfits at the event. Ranveer wore a charcoal grey pantsuit with a white-piping black shirt and black shoes.

Deepika went with a white lace maxi dress which looked almost bridal. The number featured noodle straps, a flowy skirt and a corset bodice. She rounded out her ensemble with orange and diamond dangle earrings and white strappy flats. Natural makeup and an elaborate updo completed her look.

There were a few other celebs who attended the screening too including veteran actress Rekha, current flavour Priyanka Chopra and Manish Koirala.

Rekha looked evergreen in a gold-bordered maroon sari which she accessorized with gold bangles, a finger ring on her pinky, a statement necklace, and a pink and green clutch. She styled her look in a traditional way with sindoor through her hair, the latter left loose and swept over one shoulder. She wore a stick on diamond nose ring to soften the deep maroon lippie she sported on her pout.
