The actress recently opened up about her relationship with Shikhar during an appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 9, revealing that while she’s happy in love, marriage isn’t on her immediate agenda.

Janhvi Kapoor Says Wedding Is Still 2–3 Years Away
During the October 28 episode, Janhvi joined Varun Dhawan on Karan Johar’s famous couch, with her brother Arjun Kapoor making a special appearance.
Naturally, Karan couldn’t resist asking about her wedding plans.
Janhvi’s answer was refreshingly straightforward. She isn’t planning to tie the knot for at least another two to three years.
While the actress has generally preferred keeping her personal life away from constant public discussion, she spoke openly about the stability she has found with Shikhar.
She also reflected on how their connection has endured through different phases of their lives, including periods when they were dating other people.
For now, it seems the couple is perfectly happy taking things at their own pace.

One of the episode’s more emotional moments came when Janhvi recalled how Shikhar supported her following the death of her mother, legendary actress Sridevi, in 2018.
Shikhar, who was studying in London at the time, returned to Mumbai to be closer to Janhvi during that difficult period.
Although they weren’t dating then, he reportedly stayed at a friend’s home in Juhu for about a month so he could be available whenever she needed him.
Janhvi revealed that she only learned about the full extent of his gesture later.

Her response? “Never take her to a concert.”
The remark immediately caught attention because of the online speculation surrounding Veer’s reported relationship troubles with Tara Sutaria following her appearance at an AP Dhillon concert.
However, neither Veer nor Tara has publicly confirmed the reason behind their reported separation.
Janhvi also offered some advice to Vedang Raina, suggesting that he should stop overthinking.
