Former Miss Asia Pacific and Bollywood actress Dia Mirza finally tied the knot with her beau of four years, film maker Sahil Sangha. It was a celebration their friends, family and well wishers had been eagerly waiting for.
With so much anticipation around which designer Dia Mirza would choose for her dream wedding, the wait was finally over. She chose a beautiful gold sharara with blue, green detailing and banarasi border embroidery by none other than ace designer Ritu Kumar! We all agree. She looked absolutely gorgeous for her wedding. Said Dia, “Since, I am not getting married in Hyderabad and being a Hyderabadi I chose this outfit to add some Hyderabadi flavour to my wedding. I feel like a typical Hyderabadi bride.”

Post the wedding, while speaking to the media; she said “I am very happy. It was a beautiful Arya Samaj ceremony. The vows were explained to us. It was wonderful because it was good to be conscious of what you are going through and what the vows you are exchanging are. It was a dream wedding.”
Her better half Sahil Sangha looked dapper in a cream colored achkan by designer Raghavendra Rathore. He said, “Our friends and family worked really hard to make this a memorable day for Diya and me. We are very happy and grateful for everyone who bestowed so much love on us.”

The wedding took place at a posh farmhouse in Ghittorni, New Delhi on Saturday, 18th October, 2014. With flowers as the theme of the wedding, the farmhouse was beautifully decorated with sweet smelling orchids and lilies. Adding to the regalia, was peach and white furnishings, chandeliers, candles and crystals.
The intimate and grand weddding ceremony was conducted with the Arya Sama traditions and the vows also explained to the couple. Post the wedding, the adorable couple, Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha posed for the shutterbugs and media.
