Cops are trying to locate a couple who have stolen a rare first edition of Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone valued at almost $9,000.
CCTV has recorded a man and a woman grabbing the book at the Creative Art Gallery, Oxfordshire where it was on display. The gallery assistant was occupied by a group of people and it seems that the couple took hold of the opportunity to nab the book.
Only 300 to 500 copies of the rare book were ever published and the owner of the copy is said to be really anxious to recover it.
