Milan based prosecutor Laura Pedio has confirmed to Women’s Wear Daily that Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been indicted because of tax evasion charges. They have been accused of evading taxes amounting to a staggering $569 million each – that makes it a total of over $1 billion.
Italian government is determined to pursue legal action against the pair but it remains to be seen if they will go to trial or try to escape by paying a fine.
