Sporting a Valentino Spring couture dress at the red carpet of 2011 Oscars ceremony, Florence Welch looked like an old english maiden. The lacy ivory-yellow dress with full buttoned sleeves and layered skirt covered the singer from neck to toe. Thankfully her red hair and lips didn’t let her appear dull among all the glittery gowns present at the event.
She had her hair down till the shoulders with fringes on the forehead. The dress was in keeping with her usual style of using pale colors and laces. Something which was new about her was the eye makeup. Florence usually goes for the dark eyes look and outlines them in black but here, to maintain the softness about this look, she went for light makeup leaving the hazel eyes in its natural form. The singer was there as a performer at the event held at the Kodak theater on 27th February.
