2011’s breakthrough star of the Oscar campaign – Jennifer Lawrence – will be co-hosting the announcements of the 2012 Academy Awards scheduled for later this month.
Lawrence was nominated for Best Actress last year for her role in the movie Winter’s Bone. She will team up with Tom Sherak, President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, to reveal the nominees for this year on January 24.
A news conference will be held at 5:30 am at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California where the duo will announce the nominations in 10 of the 24 categories.
