Actress Rachel McAdams may not be in the cast of the new movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. But she was nevertheless in the limelight at the premiere of the film at Grauman’s Chinese Theater on February 2 in Los Angeles, California.
The stunning brunette (although she’s gone blonde now) wore a striking ensemble from the Peter Som Spring 2012 Collection that stole the show.
The outfit consisted of a a simple light purple top paired with a high-waisted, full-length rose print skirt in different shades of blue and purple. The skirt had a sexy slit that started at the thigh, without which this skirt might have bordered on matronly. Rachel accessorized with a blue clutch, a ring on her left hand, and navy blue heels.
Her makeup and hair added greatly to the success of her outfit. She wore dark eye makeup with coral lipstick and peach blush, while her hair parted in the middle and left loose in soft curls, looking effortlessly sexy. The fresh makeup and the burst of color make this an instant hit on the red carpet.
