Bollywood actress Tabu jetted to California on January 13 to attend the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Her latest movie Life of Pi was nominated for Best Original Score, Best Picture and Best Director but only bagged the first. Tabu was accompanied by director Ang Lee and co-star Suraj Sharma to the awards show. Although all three are talented individuals, we’re pretty sure it was Tabu who stood out thanks to her gorgeous outfit.

We’re betting that a lot of the other ladies on the red carpet that evening envied Tabu her ethnic attire. She wore a plain red sari embellished with a thick zari border in gold mirror-work. Her full-sleeved blouse too was made up of that same gold mirror-work and the effect was mind-blowing. She carried a small gold clutch to accessorize in addition to wearing a pair of dangle earrings.

Wavy hair; dark eyes
Tabu kept her makeup simple, defining her eyes darkly and wearing only a subtle pink lippie. Long, wavy tresses left loose from an off-center parting completed the look.
