Thirty years after Spice turned five young women into a global phenomenon, the Spice Girls are revisiting the music that made “Girl Power” a worldwide movement.
The group has announced The Singles Collection, a new limited edition box set bringing together all of their singles, B sides, remixes and previously unreleased recordings in one package for the first time. The collection arrives on November 6, 2026, exactly 30 years to the week since their debut album Spice was released.
A Career Spanning Collection
The release traces the group’s journey from “Wannabe” through later hits including “Spice Up Your Life,” “Viva Forever,” “Goodbye” and “Holler.” Rather than functioning as a standard greatest hits release, the box set is designed more like an archive, pulling together the original singles with their companion tracks and rarities.
For long time fans, the most interesting part is the unreleased material. The CD edition includes four previously unheard demos, among them “Do You Think About Me,” one of the group’s earliest recordings. The vinyl set also includes that demo, alongside another unreleased version of “2 Become 1.”
Two Collector Editions
The collection will be released in two limited edition 14 disc formats.
The vinyl version includes 14 individually coloured 7 inch records, original single artwork, B sides and bonus discs for “Step To Me” and “Tell Me Why.” The CD box goes much further, with 160 tracks across 14 CDs, rare remixes, complete B sides and a dedicated disc of unreleased demos.
The packaging leans fully into Spice Girls nostalgia, with a handbag inspired box finished in holographic white and matte black foil. Both editions also come with collectable art cards, anniversary booklets and new messages from all five members.
Why the Timing Matters
The 30th anniversary of Spice is more than a simple nostalgia milestone. The album helped define 1990s pop culture and turned Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Melanie C and Emma Bunton into one of the most recognisable groups in music history.
Their debut single “Wannabe” reached number one in dozens of countries, while the phrase “Girl Power” quickly moved beyond the group and became part of the decade’s cultural vocabulary.
That legacy is exactly what The Singles Collection is built around. It is not new music in the conventional sense, but it gives fans a fuller look at the records, B sides and demos that shaped the Spice Girls story.
And with fresh messages from all five members inside, the release feels less like a simple reissue and more like a carefully packaged anniversary letter to the fans who never really stopped waiting for another Spice Girls moment.
