High tech is all set to meet high fashion. Technology and innovation giant, Google will launch a website called ‘Boutiques.com’ which will allow users to create a virtual shop of their own preferred styles, brands, items etc and link it to existing e-tailers like ShopBop, Yoox and Saks for shopping.
Google has tapped big names like Sarah Jessica Parker, Oscar de la Renta and Katie Holmes to create their own virtual boutiques.
The web service will launch amongst much fanfare on Wednesday – Becka Diamond, The Misshapes and DJ Earworm are expected to perform.
