2010 witnessed a wide range of cuts, silhouettes, prints and colors sported by celebrities at various red carpet events. Cut-out detailing on gowns and dresses was quite dominating and most of the celebrities didn’t miss any chance to flaunt their curves through cut-out pieces.
Two female celebrities who really made a bold fashion statement in cut-outs were Cheryl Cole and Gwyeneth Paltrow. These stars dared to bare in bold cut-out gowns at different red carpet events.
Cheryl Cole walked down the red carpet of 63rd Cannes Film Festival for the “Outside The Law” movie premiere earlier this year in a white Versace Fall 2010 gown. The sleeveless gown featured high-split and cut-out details at the back and on the sides.
The front and back panels of the gown were joined together via rectangular elastic and fabric straps on both the sides with a nude lining underneath.
She carried off the bold look quite well.
Gwyneth Paltrow walked down the red carpet of “Country Strong” LA premiere earlier his month in a daring white Emilio Pucci Spring 2011 gown. The full-sleeved gown featured an open back with an asymmetric cut that extended all the way towards the left.
Front and back panels of the gown were seamed together along the right side, whereas the left-side featured an interesting lace tie-up detailing that held both the panels together. The gown featured no extra linings.
Gwyneth looked amazing in the daring gown.
