There is a thin line between sensible fashion and nonsensical fashion. Many people very effortlessly fall into the latter category and maintain absolute confidence along with it. One such disastrous buoyant personality was Carla Ortiz at AMCs special screening of Mad Men season 5 held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome.
The combination of a bubblegum pink one shoulder satin gown with a hideous purple belt with metallic sheen pink base was an absolute eye shocker. There was absolutely no break or relief in terms of the colors. Both the bright colors teamed up so appallingly with an ugly string running over the belt. The high waist belt does nothing to except for making her look absolutely bulkier on the top. Too much folds happening on the upper half of the gown makes it completely shapeless and baggy.
The only credits I would give here would be for her subtle make up. The nude base with a hint of blush and highly defined eyes saves her from looking like a character from the comedy circus.
