Kendall Jenner delivered the final look at Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2027 in Milan, closing Louise Trotter’s latest collection in a look that was far more about shape and movement than decoration.
For the finale, Jenner wore a voluminous black draped dress with an asymmetrical construction that wrapped loosely around the body. The fabric gathered and folded rather than clinging, creating a cocoon-like silhouette that moved with her as she walked. One side appeared almost cape-like, giving the look a sculptural quality without making it feel heavy.
The styling stayed deliberately restrained.
Her hair was worn sleek and centre-parted, while the accessories were kept minimal, allowing the construction of the dress to take the lead. A small dark Bottega Veneta bag was worked into the look, and woven black footwear tied it back to the house’s long-standing focus on craftsmanship.
The closing look made sense within the wider collection.
Trotter built Spring 2027 around the transition from colder months into warmer weather, moving from protective outerwear into lighter crochet, lace, fringe and openwork textures. The show was rooted in craft, especially Bottega Veneta’s signature intrecciato, but treated with a noticeably lighter hand this season.
Jenner’s final black look worked as a quiet counterpoint to all that texture and colour.
It was simple in palette, but dramatic in volume.
