There’s another Marc Cain store in town! The German luxury brand launched its latest flagship boutique in Mumbai, India on February 28. The opening was a star-studded event with several B-town and Page 3 personalities in attendance. The lucky guests also got a first look at the fabulous new Spring/Summer Collection.

The launch was inaugurated by MD of the brand Norbert Lock who jetted down to the film capital all the way from Germany. Marc Cain India owner Punit Agarwal was also present, beaming with pride since his dream of opening up five more stores in the country is falling into place. He is expecting profits from the new store to amount to Rs. 5 crore at least. From the elite crowd that will frequent the outlet, we’d say that’s quite doable.
Some of the guests at the do included Esha Deol with hubby Bharat Takhtani, Poonam Dhillon, Evelyn Sharma, Vanya Mishra, Anil Chopra, Mahika Mirpuri, Simi Chandoke and Pradeep Hirani. Former beauty queen Yukta Mookhey also attended, making a splash with her bright and breezy ensemble.

With her hair done up in a casual ponytail, she completed her look with a bright red lippie, the latter a gorgeous, stormy color that suited her to a T and was the perfect accompaniment to her vibrant handbag and shoes.
Her ensemble is such a light, approachable affair. The dress is great for kicking back over coffee, a brunch or window-shopping, and that bag with those shoes could accessorize scores of ensembles. With just this one outfit, Yukta has proven herself to be one smart shopper and an even smarter dresser.
