Preity was radiant in a one-shoulder shimmering black gown, the effect a result of sequins. A thigh-high slit showed off her pins from under a slightly flared skirt.

The ensemble was accessorized with a pair of diamond earrings, a couple of rings and black ankle strap heels.
While the other models at the show boasted bouffant-esque updos, Preity was dolled up in a very elegant updo with a portion of her locks swept invitingly on the side. Her makeup was glamorous, but not too red-carpet.

The rest of Surily’s collection was just as celebratory as Preity’s outfit. Inspired by jewel tones, the designer has added oomph to many a known design with infusions of emerald green, wine red and sapphire blue.

The silhouettes were flowy since quite a few outfits relied on draping or layering to some extent. However, clean, crisp lines were pre-dominant, creating aesthetically pleasing structure.

Apart from pumps and T-strap heels, accessories were shunned altogether. After all, when you are the jewel you don’t need any more. Bold lips and delicate eyes ensured that the collection was rounded off just right.
