Her look brings an underwater fantasy to the runway.

Lisa Haydon looked like she had stepped straight out of a glamorous underwater fantasy at Times Fashion Week 2026, walking the runway for Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika in a spectacular, intricately embellished creation.

The design puts a glamorous spin on the mermaid theme.

And this was no ordinary mermaid moment. Think shimmering pastel colours, delicate seashell details, sparkling embellishments and just the right amount of fashion drama.

A Mermaid-Inspired Dress Full of Intricate Details

Lisa wore a figure-hugging, ankle-length dress that beautifully captured the whimsical aesthetic of designer Shubhika Sharma.

The creation featured a dreamy combination of lavender, pale green, champagne gold and iridescent embellishments that shimmered under the lights.

The asymmetrical neckline was finished with delicate lavender beaded fringe, adding softness and movement to the heavily embellished silhouette.

Lavender beaded fringe trims the dress's asymmetrical neckline, while gold-toned seashells connect its side cutouts.
The fringe adds movement to the embellished dress.

But the real surprise was along the sides. Gold-toned seashell-shaped embellishments connected the daring cutouts, creating a striking decorative detail that gave the dress its unmistakable ocean-inspired personality.

The surface was covered in intricate beadwork, sequins and three-dimensional floral and shell-like appliqués, creating an almost coral reef-like texture. An embellished extension at the hem added another playful element to the design.

Lisa completed the outfit with delicate gold strappy heels, keeping the footwear understated enough to let the dress do all the talking.

Soft Glamour with a Little Attitude

The beauty styling complemented the elaborate outfit without competing with it.

Her long, dark hair was styled in loose, flowing waves by Daksh Nidhi, adding a windswept finish that worked particularly well with the mermaid theme. Gold hoop earrings provided the finishing touch.

There is something wonderfully unapologetic about this look. It is colourful, extravagant and full of tiny details that demand a closer look.
