Zarine Khan Announces Association with India Wedding Lounge 2013

Bollywood actor Zarine Khan joined famed Indian fashion designer Archana Kochhar to announce the dates for the India Wedding Lounge at a special press meet in Mumbai, India on September 17, 2013.

She will also be participating in the event, which will be held in Mauritius this year on September 28 and 29. The India Wedding Lounge, held in association with Gitanjali jewellers this year, claims to be a one stop shop for everything to do with the big fat Indian wedding. They have been in the business for 12 years and are tied up with some of the most luxurious brands in the multi-million dollar wedding industry.

We cannot wait to see what Zarine will be up to at the event, especially what the doe-eyed beauty will wear! She gave us a bit of a teaser at the press meet.

Zarine borrowed from Archana Kochhar’s latest collection. She wore a dream of a maroon sari, the deep, rich color highlighting her fair complexion and vice versa. Glass work on the lower half and a gold sequinned pallu added hypnotic accents to the nine yards.

A sleeveless, backless velvet maroon blouse was another eye-catching feature of her ensemble, in particular the jewel-drop detailing on the ends of the tie-up. On the ramp, this sari was worn with a very staid high-neck blouse. But we find Zarine’s take on the blouse much sexier. It’s so much more contemporary; plus, bold vibes suit her better than modest ones.

She accessorized this slinky look with emerald drop dangle earrings and matching finger rings.

The Housefull 2 star wore her hair slightly mussed up, her brown locks swept one shoulder in a relaxed, feminine way. Neutral makeup completed the ensemble.
