Several Bollywood celebs – mostly the fashion-conscious set – made their way to the opening of the Marks and Spencer store in Mumbai, India on November 11, 2013. The Marks and Spencer brand is in partnership with Reliance Retail and is aiming to make India its second largest market. They plan on launching 80 stores in the country by 2016, which will make India their largest international market.

The news was revealed by Marc Bolland, the Chief Executive of the company, who looked very spiffy in a grey pantsuit, white shirt and blue tie, the latter bringing out the blue of his dreamy peepers. He said that India remained their main target in the Asian market since the brand was more well-established here. That’s why they decided to prioritise growth in India over China.

Nita Ambani joined in the fun, looking casual and contemporary in printed pants, a loose-fitting black blouse, and black platform heels. She rounded off her look with a statement necklace and other pieces of minimalistic jewellery.

Bollywood actress Anushka Manchanda took a walk around the store to check out the goodies on display. She looked like she was modelling for the store herself thanks to her edgy, sexy and very in vogue outfit. Anushka wore black pants, a white tee, a red leather jacket to die for, and rocker chic booties that had interesting cuff detailing around the ankles. The outfit was complemented by a gold cuff bracelet and deep red lips.

Bollywood actress Sophie Choudhary was all aglitter in a fully sequinned dress. She teamed the glamorous number with red heels, dangle earrings and red lips – all rounded off with dark eye makeup and loosely curled locks.

VJ Archana Vijaya seemed to be in a bit of a serious mood, if her outfit is anything to go by. She donned a plain black pencil skirt with an off-white, floral print blouse. She did, however, add a couple of elements of party fun with red lips and silver sparkly peep-toes.

Red heels seemed to be a popular go-to footwear choice as even VJ Shibani Dandekar was spotted in them. She wore her peep-toes with a little blue dress boasting a lace overlay. Soft, inviting pink lips and wonderfully wavy locks made her look fresh, fun, young and vibrant.
