The ramp was aflood with gold as this was the primary colour he used in his lehenga cholis, anarkali suits and kurtas. The vibe was flamboyant yet cultured and very rich.

He also did the unthinkable – he offered many pieces in black, a colour he loves because of its timelessness but one which is just not typically associated with bridal wear. It being quintessential Tarun, the black bridal outfits were some of the most startlingly beautiful, perhaps because of their unconventionality.

His outfits were perfect for the new Azva jewellery pieces that accessorized them. Tarun favoured dangling head pieces for most of the model brides, sometimes angling them off to the side of the crown for an offbeat look. The low-cut necklines of the collection were teamed with the heavier necklaces and dramatic dangle earrings.

Lips sported neutral or very low-key tones on most of the models. It was the eyes that glowed under sultry liner and mascara, both contrasting and complementing the bashful bride.
