Bollywood actresses and undeniable fashionistas Bipasha Basu and Malaika Arora Khan announced the partnership between Amazon.in and The Label Corp in Mumbai, India on November 19, 2014.

Malaika sizzled in a red maxi dress with gold heels and a gold necklace adding oodles of glamour to her sultry siren on the town look. Her ringed curls and cobalt manicure definitely added spice to the mix.

Although Bipasha sported a tiny blue mini dress, her look was much more sedate than Malaika’s. It may have had something to do with the down to earth vibe of the shoulder cutouts on the elbow-length sleeves or the simple black strappy heels that she accessorized with.

So why are these two leading ladies promoting the partnership? Because they’re the ones who will be picking some of the merchandise available under The Label Corp’s banner. Malaika, who you have to admit rarely goes wrong with her wardrobe, will handpick blouses, bottoms and dresses while Bipasha will be involved in selecting accessories like watches, bags, jewellery and shoes.

Also at the event were Preeta Sukhtankar – the founder of The Label Corp, the head of Fashion of Amazon India – Vikas Purohit, and designer Narendra Kumar who is the current Creative Head of Amazon India’s fashion department.
